The Yarn Car is a 1967 Imperial Crown luxury car covered with 5 miles of soft acrylic yarn and 2000 black river rocks. I created it in 2001-2002, and after more than 20 years, it's still going strong here in Vancouver, Washington, USA. But its rickety old website at www.yarncar.com, with all of its HTML meticulously hand-coded by me, finally succumbed to hopeless obsolescence and wouldn't work in modern web browsers anymore. Hence this minimal replacement site, little more than a placeholder right now, but with potential to grow. We'll see...
